Calcium, the main ingredient in Consolidate Ca, is a  natural flocculant that is known for its soil conditioning properties. It has the ability to aid with the breakdown of heavier clay soils which in turn improves the Cation exchange capacity. This enhances the soils ability to hold onto essential nutrients whilst improving porosity. Consolidate Ca has a positive effect on the control of algae build up that may have developed within the surface.
